Scourgion, The Tension Crack Pokémon, is a brutal defender of its territory. Scourgion have completely lost any practical usability of their abdomen but can now instead use their pedipalps far better than their pre-evolutions. These Pokémon wind their internal muscles to such a degree that when the tension is released, its guillotine-like claws lash inward or outward with such extreme intensity that it creates a thunder clap. According to ancient writings found by Yve, these Pokémon were once used to split large stone obelisks in Letum's past. The Letum variant of Scourgion is particularly pernicious; its lashes produce a shock wave so powerful, it momentarily stops the Pokémon's own heart.
Type: Ghost and Bug
Ability: Intimidate, High Tension. High Tension causes Scourgion to constantly wind up its muscles when not in use. The Pokémon's attack stat increases by one stage every turn. This effect disappears after a physical move is used.
