I am DEAD. I have been working on this, non-stop, since I got home from school. This is a art contest submission that my school is having for the front page of the Yearbook. The theme is Heart, Mind and Spirit. I wasnt originally going to submit anything, but i got his idea really last minute and decided why not. Now i know why not, because my hand is KILLING ME!!! >___< Anyway, I guess i really like it. Rainbows XD lolAbout the pic: Music is the center heart of Amy Biehl (my school). Everyone is very passionate about Music, hence the music notes and headphones (which have the school symbols on them). I chose to put the "heart" in the music notes since it is what connects us all. Spirit is very vibrant at Amy Biehl too. We all appreciate this school, since it basically saved us from having to go to a public school (aka. prison). Amy Biehl is a REALLY artsy charter school XD The hearts on the character's shirts are supposed to symbolize the love for technology that this generation holds. We are a generation of teens that love technology, so thats why i put that in there. The monochrome color scheme on their clothes represents what most Amy Biehl students wear XD We all like black, grey and white-of course there are MANY exceptions to this, they are the colors that everyone agrees on. The rainbow backround represents the different backgrounds everyone comes from, the different personalities, originality and corny stuff like that!

Oh boy, long story XDD to make it short, my brother was born with slight hearing deficancy but had an operation early on and was fine, but he had to go through speech therapy classes, and i went with him when i was small. Later on i took a sign class at Amy Biehl, and found that it was really fun and intresting to learn, so i wanted a job that utilized sign at times. Then i started my senior project at Presbyterian Ear Institute and loved it so much that i figured it was what i wanted to do with my life ^^

Wow! That's awesome! congrats on figuring that out early! I actually know someone who just got her masters in Speech Pathology-- i think it's her masters. But yeah it sounds like an interesting occupation.

Well.. I'm here to tell you that ABHS is most DEFFINETLY a saving grace from prison. The school's a little piece of joy where hardly anyone can even find a likeable part. It's beautiful, Ai. Good luck in the contest. Hope I get a year book and see it there.
