Description
I drew this portrait at 17 when I just started my Art & Design course. I'm 22 now and this is still my favourite self portrait, produced with pencil and pen media and the aid of a side profile photograph. I remember trying to capture as much detail as possible and remain true to my facial features. Five years have passed and the paper has faded and discoloured a little which adds to the mood of the illustration and makes it appear more authentic. I still look more or less the same.
