"Jem darling, I'm alright," exclaim Rarity as she hold her daughter that was nestling on her.

"No......you're not," mumbled Jem. She snuggled closer to her mother.

"It's alright dear, I just have a bit of a flu that's all. Don't want to pass it to you now," Rarity giggled, but Jem stayed silent and placed her head on Rarity chest bear she could hear the steady beat of her mothers heart.

"I won't mind, If it makes you okay again...I won't mind," Jem mumbled again. Rarity couldn't help but smile at her little Jem. Jem, always putting other before herself. How humble.

"I'll try and get better then darling," said Rarity, but Jem shakes her head slowly.

"No...you have to promise,"Jem looked into Rarity's eyes with hope. Rarity pulled her daughter closer.

"I promise I'll get better dear, is that alright?" Rarity asked and went on to brush Jem's mane. Jem buried her face in Rarity's chest.

"It's....alright."

I swear man, Rarity's eyes makes me cringe. XDD
Why can't I draw pupils correctlyyy AAAHAHHHHHH

But I wanted to update more on my nextgen.
So as a kid she was the quiet type. Took her a while to become confident about herself. Since she's a hybrid and all, ponies around her didn't welcome her type with open hooves. A few ponies though she was cool, but the majority didn't seem to like her much.That's why she didn't had much confident in things.

But as time pass it worked out anyways. : P

So long story short Rarity went to the Crystal Empire and somehow magically got the flu. Jem would drop by Rarity's bedroom a few times to check on her and drop Rarity candies and 'get well' cards. Rarity keeps them in a special box of memories.

I actually got this idea when I was reading. I remembered as a kid when my mum got sick I would snuggle next to her and told her she had to get better. My mum would always hug back and said she will. Sometimes when I did this, I would wake up the next morning being a bit sick XD
But it was worth it lol.
