I think it's because of the translation. I have this thought that whenever a game from Japan gets translated into English, there are many errors in the translation. I always think of that.

Well, such a relatively text-heavy game like this does require a lot of proper translation, so that's granted.
What you son't often think about is the recoding they have to do, the games have different features and compatibles in different parts of the world and such.
I guess that's why they come out later in Europe. More languages to adapt to.
