Real awesome, I really love this style. The sort you'll see in something like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann :3
Umm, I was wondering? Any advice to draw in this kind of style. Like, tool settings, strokes, that kind of stuff?

Two things I think are what made this style;
- Instead of making the lineart over a sketch, it's just a cleaned-up rough sketch. That way the lines are still thick and pretty rough and cool. : P
- Aaaaaand put a grainy texture on overlay. That does a TON of difference!
Comparing this to Gurren Lagann is a really good compliment hahaha, thanks!
Really love that art style. :3

Yeah, it really is great isn't it :3 What would you use to put a grainy texture over it, I understand the clean sketch idea though. Sai would work well for that :3

What I did was to google for a "grainy texture" and look for one that was free and required no credit, and then put it on top of the image, setting the layer to "overlay". Playing around with opacity, and voilà!
