I had a dream were Tim Drake was a mermaid, and made friends with some other magical beings in spirit town (whitch was like Chinatown, but in a pocket dimension and for magical/sprite creators. the entirece was sorta hidden, and batman didn't know about it. they all really became friends when they saved coral from some people who had kidnapped her to sell in the fairytale auction house, which was apart of the fairytale mafia. And they all decided that they will stop the fairytale mafia. In there quest they come upon several in the magical would, which is a combination of the real world, pocket dimmisons containing magical neighborhoods (and even a few full blown cities) and the inbetween, were the fae courts lived, were the gods made their main home and the passing point to the underworld, where demons lived.

All the aquatic magical creatures had taken landform or moved full time to the underworld because the pollution made the waters untendablue. this mass migration from the waters has changed a lot of traditions, especially for the Mers and cecaelias, who were at war with another before humans. It also changed the Mer law of only mating with your own kind, unless the being trying to be with you won three of the mating games. Mers used to all come together once a year in a large grouping, were those who wanted to mate would compete, and then pairing off. all mers could both conceive and give children, gender wasn't really a thing with them before moving.

Tim Drake is half human, but magic genes always win. His father knows nothing about the magical world.
