I posted a drawing of a Chimera a long time ago. It didn't have a mane, because I read this beast was female, that it's name meant "she-goat". But then I learned that the Ancient Greeks did indeed draw female lions with manes, but with protruding ears to distinguish them from males.

It's been about seven years since I made this one:www.deviantart.com/yydloophole… I didn't actually study drawings of lions, goats, and snakes. I'm amazed at how immensely I've improved.
