Oh yeah,
RAW = digital negative
You can make a heck of a lot more adjustments without losing image quality among other things.
Easier to work with exposure in post-processing and such.
And bigger file size, like you said

there are no words for this other than beautiful.
i always love the post-processing you do.
and yes, RAW is good... if you have software like adobe lightroom, you can edit the actual image, even change how the image was taken, if that makes sense. you can't do that with a JPEG. sorry, i'm rambling...

yes, that's what i've been learning! it does seem like a much more flexible file type than jpeg. and i've heard it's better for printing too.
