Description
Marie & Elise with their fragmented summon Cerberus.Don't be confused the beast with Orthrus. I like both mythical creatures. My goal to this concept is to draw and combine both of Cerberus and Orthrus by using two heads only but with the name Cerberus to emphasize with the twin girls and their deceased sibling why it only has two heads and named it Cerberus.

I must say this is one of the coolest pictures i have ever seen! They dynamics of the character layout is very well done. Theres a lot of movement that draws the eye to the point where the girls are holding hands (love their stockings by the way XD). The creature's simple color palette is beautiful, the colors work nicely and gives it a menacing appearance, which i'm sure you were aiming for. While the creature's anatomy and expression(s) is spot on, i think the girls could be improved. This is a really well done piece all together! Very well done

Ok...i woulds like to see different colour range used for the creature and changing the background so it would have that monster like setting ....the characters are perfect but i mostly focus on the creature...i don't know if u want that....but wouldn't u like me to focus on all of it rather then one thing ?and also i like the technique u have used...its very original....and since im visionally open i would like to see more to feel more if u know what im trying to say ? overall its a great art pice but it needs a bit more work on the vision...thank u...

love how you darkened the creatures face to bring it Β into Β a Β degree of 3 dimentions, while the body and hands are lowered in Β colour opacity to show they are behind, but yet they also help let the girls stand out more, you have killed two birds with one stone.

People, stop bitching about it not having a third head. Maybe she wanted it to only have 2 heads. Or maybe she forgot. It's still amazing. Yes, this would be considered to be Orthrus, but who cares?

It seems that we all were wrong... that is actually Fenrir, fromΒ Norse mythology... but due to mutation it now has one extra head, and she mixed them up, so she named him Cerberus without one head, which made us all think that it was reallyΒ Orthrus, but is not! is actually a mutated Fenrir... how silly of us we forgot this is DeviantArt and you can't tell artist about their mistakes... oh well.

This is Orthrus, who guarded Geryon's Red Cattle. He has two heads. Cerberus, who guarded the gates to the Underworld, has three. Research is key in character creation.Β
