Meet the latest member of Matsuri's mystery-club crew, Atsuko. She modifies her uniform because she's a rebel...

-Atsuko is a shinigami, but is terrible at her job. She's hardly reaped anything and is a gigantic bother to her coworkers. She can't even hold her scythe aloft without falling over or tripping. In a last ditch effort to save her job, Atsuko took on the job of reaping the souls of Matsuri and her family. She was given the task, seeing as everyone else had refused to take it and that meant that Atsuko would be gone for a very very long time.

She constantly tries and horribly fails to reap the souls of the Nougami family and has slowly been demoted further and further to Matsuri's dog more than a shinigami. And no matter how friendly she ends up acting with Matsuri or her family, she never passes up an oportunity to try and do her job.

-Atsuko is a big-talker and outwardly acts tough when in reality she's a massive coward. She'll talk highly about herself in fights and put on flashy displays only to have her plans easily foiled.

-Atsuko is deathly afraid of Neuro and will do anything to keep from facing him unless she's weilding her scythe. God knows Neuro takes advantage of her fear as much as he can when Matsuri drags her along to places he happens to be.
