Description
So, if you guys read my latest journal entry, you'd have seen I wrote a small bit about a new OC coming... this is not the OC I was talking about. Last night I had a really random dream and it had a Vampire-Pony OC in it, so I did my best to make her.

Anyway, back-story:

So, Rose Petal is a vampire-pony (obviously), but unlike Flutterbat, she is a proper vampire. I.e. She drinks blood. Her life prior to being a vampire-pony is a blur. She doesn't remember her life before waking up one day as a vampire-pony. She doesn't have the ability to speak, and instead communicates through shrieks, cries, facial expressions, etc. She is also highly driven by instinct, and usually acts with little or no thought. Rose is hostile to just about everypony, but shows no care for any non-equine creatures.

She currently resides with Fluttershy, spending most of her time in the basement of Fluttershy's cottage. She ended up living there when one night she crashed into the cottage and broke her wing. When Fluttershy came to her aid, Rose Petal tried to attack Fluttershy, but was too weak to do any harm and quickly lost consciousness. At first Fluttershy was terrified of Rose and the rest of the mane 6 came and captured Rose. while she was unconscious Twilight tried to use the spell she used on Flutterbat, to try and cure Rose of her vampirism, but in didn't work. Upon waking, Rose became terrified and tried to flee from the mane 6. When she found she was trapped, she backed as far away from them as she could and tried to hide herself under her wings, crying. Fluttershy felt sorry for Rose, and having also been turned into a vampire-pony herself, she felt she had to help, so she took Rose in and since then Rose has become really good friends with Fluttershy. Fluttershy has tried to teach Rose how to be a normal pony, so that she could go out on her own without attacking or hurting other ponies, but they have a long way to go. Rose is still sort of hostile to the rest of the mane 6, and has on occasion, tried to bite them, but she always got caught before she could. With Twilight's help, Fluttershy has taught Rose how to read and write so she can have an easier way of communicating with others.

Hopefully that all sorta makes sense.

Anyway, I was actually thinking of trying to do an "Ask Rose Petal" thing, so what I'm gonna do is. If you guys have questions, or stuff you would want Rose Petal to answer or reply to, write them in the comments, and we'll see how far this goes. If I get enough questions and I feel I could do this on a regular basis, maybe like, two or three questions a week, then I might consider making a proper ask blog on Tumblr (as soon as I figure out how to use Tumblr). Yeah, I'm doing this with Rose and not Sweet because I feel I can take this character further than Sweet.
If you want to ask your questions anonymously, send me a note or something, because I'm gonna PrtScn whatever questions or comments I get and paste them into the comic thing.
Oh and if you are writing a comment or question for Rose Petal to reply to, make sure you write something like, *Rose Petal*- that way I can sort out the "ask stuff", from general comments and such.
