Watched Panty and Stocking today... OMG this show made me laugh so much.So much wrongness, crudeness, mixed with an awesome art style, made this so enjoyable for me.
I'll probably vector Panty later...

It's a raunchy show that's strangely enjoyable, imo. I remember watching at least half of the episodes. Stocking is my fav. of the Anarchy sisters though I love how Jamie Marchi brings out Panty in the english dub.Β
I have to agree, the show is funny in its own way especially the dialogues btwn the sisters.

TRIGGER (the team behind Panty & Stocking, Gurren Lagann, and Kill la Kill) apparently confirmed that Season 2 of Panty & Stocking is about as likely to be made as Half Life 3, if not even less likely.

Sad isn't it? And it ended on such a cliffhanger. But then again Gainax made a sequal to Gunbuster 25 years after the original.

i could be incorrect but i believe the term coined for it is a "Gurren Lagann ending"

I think there was a second season planned. But just never panned out do to various reasons.

I don't know that Gainax even matters anymore. The team that made P&S and TTGL left Gainax and formed their own company (the aforementioned TRIGGER) before they made Kill la Kill. So either A) TRIGGER holds the rights to P&S and may or may not decide to do a sequel or B) Gainax holds the rights and IF they make a sequel the original team won't be involved at all. Either way doesn't exactly make me think a P&S 2 will exist and be good.

Not sure about that. Essentialy P&S is all about zanyness and pop culture references. Things that are relativly easy to to do on there own. And I'm pretty certain Gainax would retain the rights to it as it was created under there aegis.

their were many of yous talking about the last episode and it being the only season and yours was the bottom comment so im replying to yours ^^ X3 c:
S2 for panty and stocking was confrimed but a guy in japan made a new law agenst those types of animes
and banned it, and cancled the season, theirs a whole page on it, online ^^ ( people are pissed at the guy XD )

I am not surprised if true. The real funny part is the Americanized version is deliberatly worse than the original japanese version. Deliberately. They wanted the American dub to teach the japanese writers new and exciting ways of pushing the limits.
