Description

Feathered Drakes, like Breeze, typically aren't big fans of the rain, or water in general. Drakes feathers are rather absorbent, and feathered wings tend to quickly become soaked and heavy, losing all ability to generate any sort of lift. Though it's possible to use magic to shield themselves from the rain, doing so, while also using magic to fly, and concentrating on controlling your flight, just isn't a great idea. Feathered Drake wings also tend to be more fragile, than regular wings, which makes the whole idea of flying in the rain too dangerous a risk. So, on particularly rainy days, Breeze usually has to spend the day grounded. Her non-feathered Wind Drake co-workers however don't have to worry about the rain so much, so the Adventurer's Guild can continue sending mail and packages as per usual.
