micron, brush pens & white ink on toned paper

Spent nearly 5 hours at high banks park working on this drawing, but more importantly had a really peaceful time out in nature.

I currently have 4 sketchbooks, with 3 of them being for quick sketching, blocking out ideas, practicing things like anatomy and perspective along with mindless doodling. Then I have my more 'refined sketchbook', which I use primarily for drawing from observation, be it nature, architecture, or people. For the most part it's a collection of finished drawings, from 2018 to 2021- I have very few empty pages left, which is really fulfilling, though I'm already beginning to feel the strange and irrational anxiety that comes when starting a new sketch book (which I already own, it's just empty). The way that I usually start a sketchbook is by flipping it over so that I begin on what's meant to be the last page. For some reason that has always helped ease me into the next book, and often, I'll start the new one right as I'm finishing the old one, it's so odd the way the mind reasons things like this.

Anyway, I'm trying to think of what to do with this sketchbook once it's completed, as I've always felt that sketchbooks are kind of pieces of artwork in and of themselves. I would like to perhaps do a video flipping through it, or something along those lines. I would love to one day be able to publish a finished sketchbook, I think it would be really cool if done right. If anyone has any ideas or experience doing something like that, feel free to drop me some tips or advice!
