Description Black bear cubs taking a nap high in the canopy. This little one appeared to have spent all his energy getting up there. Taken in Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cades Cove is a valley, preserved as the relatively level farmland it was 75 years ago to allow for a historic setting and excellent wildlife viewing.
