For a time I’ve had this idea that Hope is the daughter of Chris and Helen in my Sonic AU, since her appearance reflects that of both characters.

I realized that she and Chris have a lot in common:
-They are both curious about the world.
-They make friends with anthropomorphic animals.
-They are super geniuses and fantastic pilots.
-They suffer from emotional pain and loneliness and long for close companionship.

She also takes after her mother’s kind and caring nature.
