So I just finished watching all three seasons of the Lion Guard, and I gotta say, this was a surprisingly high-quality show, especially for a Disney Junior show (which I admittedly felt a little ridiculous for watching, since I’m...not quite a toddler anymore 😂). I wasn’t a big fan of the Lion King before, but this show made me fall in love with the Lion King franchise! I loved the vibrant art style of the Lion Guard and many of the songs were surprisingly catchy. It wasn’t annoying to watch like most little kid shows, I actually enjoyed almost every episode, especially Season 3. I really liked the character of Kion from the start(he’s so stinkin’ adorable!), and though many of the other characters took some warming up to, I now love almost all of them.

Anyway, didn’t mean to make this an essay. I drew this picture not too long ago, and I was just thinking it would be fun if the Lion Guard somehow got ahold of a phone and took a bunch of group selfies. I was going to do a couple other group pics of them before this one but I was so excited to do this one, so here it is. Maybe I’ll do some more. This was actually my first time drawing everyone but Kion, so they probably don’t look as good.

Bunga was messing around with the camera, and Kion caught him and now he’s giving his best friend a well-deserved noogie. (And unfortunately for Bunga, Kion inherited his grandfather Mufasa’s powerful noogie skills!)
