Once I get through my studies I was thinking about doing another one of these to compare how far I have come in my art skills. This little guy is from back in 2013 - I've come a long way since then.

I may or may not redraw it in the future depending on how a feel. My newer work is a lot different than this. Seems like people still like it enough to comment and like it though.Β

I know! My fishy was doing fine until winter came...curse winter! My parakeet also died in winter. Thank goodness my dog didnt. :3 do u have pets?

We did have a bearded dragon but she was too much maintenance so we re-homed her. She was awesome for the short time we had her though.
I'm sorry to hear that. I had some indoor cats that died in the winter many years ago, one was sickly and the other died from the loss of the first. It was very depressing. The two loved each other very much.

And it's alright, it took us a while to get over that incident and find a new companion. Aeris (the spoiled Princess) was just the right match for us.
And stolen puppies!? Why would someone do that! So sad! I think that would bother me more because the mystery would drive me bonkers of their safety. I'm very sorry to hear that..

I takes a while to recover from these incident. Most people where i live steal puppies such as pitbulls, chihuahuas, poodles, and yorkies. Sad, and its ok, life is life.

People are messed up! Guess that is why I want out of the city. The less I have to be involved with the better in some cases. I like people from a distance lol.

I love betas!!! I used to have a few but their life expectancy is actually rather short and I haven't gotten anymore since my last one passed (especially considering I now have a toddler...)

Bettas are awesome! I haven't had any in a while either. Though a toddler is much more interactive!
In my case, I got a cat, and we all know that doesn't bode well.

Yeah...they find them far too fun to play with. I'll definitely get one when she's older though, as bettas are some of the few fish I don't feel bad about keeping in an aquarium, since their natural habitat is so...well...mucky, lol.

Indeed! If I recall it right they live much longer in captivity because of the difference. It's interesting that such beautiful fish live so unseen in such murk.
