Made at [link]Personally I have a love hate thing for cross over pairings. I thing that a crossover should be something that could actually happen and so the pairing should be something that if these crossovers happened might work out.
For example. Crossing over Invader Zim and The Magic School bus to pair up Zim with Wanda...O.o that's wrong on many levels. They don't exist in worlds that are even remotely alike. To pull this off, both characters would be EXTREMELY OOC, and the story would just be a mess of "Uhmm what the hell id this chick/dude on?"
Inversely a crossover pairing I've started shipping Recently is Clopin (Hunchback of Notredame) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast). Both are Disney movies set in premodern times in France at around the same time period. Since Clopin is a Gypsy and constantly traveling from place to place it is very possible that they could meet, and in fact Belle makes a cameo in Hunchback scene here. [link]

I usually do future families for some crossover ships. The recent ones I've done are Endabeth (Steve (Minecraft) x Isabelle (Animal Crossing), and Samuel and Sammie Mouse (Luigi x Minnie Mouse). I will soon be doing Leonardo (TMNT 2012) x Twilight Sparkle (MLP: FiM).Β

I'm ehish on this, it mainly depends on the pairing, and if the author made it seem believable or not. For example, I like the ones where the character's are rather similar, for example Molly Hooper and Bruce banner, but most of them are a bit wacko.

I agree. I like the Molly Hooper and Bruce Banner pairing but not a Sherlock and Iron man..... But that's kinda because I don't ship any male/male pairings or vise versa.

Depends. But I usually love 'em. Some of them are really clever, and some of them are just dumb.

it depends really most of my favorite x-overs are non paired though.... wait i forgot something about OC's is that they have to have a truthfully realistic personality for that universe. hmm Ranma 1/2 is also a good place to take characters from to cross with other series. "mostly Ranma though"

It honestly depends. When someone crosses over Aladdin with Miriam from TPOE; now that is just plain wrong. But Someone crossing over Jim and Kayley or Jim/Audrey or Jim/Wendy or Kida/Tarzan, I think it's awesome!

Not really, I'm like you if it would work out I'd agree to it. But if you had two that where night and day, then I would go "What where they smokeing?" But for the most part stay in your own movie/series/ex. they always seems fit better togrther anyway.

I mostly like my cannon pairings. It all depends on who is in the crossover pairing and what the circumstances are. My biggest concern is if its IC, otherwise I won't give it the time of day. Fangirls can be *so* annoying with how they stret crap to live vicariously through someone else
But I'm in love with Esmeralda and Norrington as a pair <3. They have so much amazing potential. On the surface they seem really different, but they also have a lot in common too. Plus, the *tention* would be brilliantly sexy

Modern adaptation of HoND: Clopin/Darbus. I can totally see Clopin as a drama teacher at a high school (thanks in large part to Crispy Gypsy). Not sure how I ended up shipping Clopin and Darbus, but that pairing amuses me greatly. I see Clopin as a cell phone hater, who's not afraid to smash a student's iPhone against the wall.

I don't have a problem with crossover pairings, as long as they're well done and/or could work out. THough I'll admit I do like watching Disney/Non-Disney crossover vids on Youtube. A lot of those vids are kind of cool, even when they use pairs don't make a lot of sense. Though I'll admit that thanks to those vids I've grown to like the Hades/Eris pairing.

I know, and actually Hades/Eris works since their both Greek Gods that are on the darker side of mythology (Hades=God of Death/underworld Eris=Godess of chaos and discord) I think the videos are all cool, but my favorite ones are the ones with some sense of logic.

Yeah true, I have seem crossover vids where the charatcer involved are from totally wouldn't mix well. But still, you gotta adminer the one that have really good editing. Heck I'll admit I once saw a Sinbad/Dimitri/Odette crossover vid that had to admit was pretty good.

Lol, yeah when the editing is good in video it can work, but when people are writing fanfic it rarely works out.
