The natives were very active, yesterday.
What I call "native', are the wild animals I share the wilderness with.
I had seen about 40 turkeys, Canadian geese, mule deer and a bobcat.
The bobcat was cute. I could see its ears and head, as it hid in the tall grass.
It ran off, as I tried to take it's photo.
The nights are getting cooler in the oak forest. Almost freezing.
Hopefully soon, this region will get the first rains of the season.
Take time to observe your local natives.
I'm sure they might be watching you.

It is cold here today(1-15-2019). It will warm up to the 40+50's. But Saturday will turn COLD! Meaning MAYBE ice and snow. That first part is more important than the second. Maybe not. I am hoping for the not.

Deer hunting season came to an end, around Halloween.

Sometimes they do.. sometimes not.. I had a Bobcat hiding in the tall dry grass, watching me as I hiked.
I thought I was going to get the perfect picture..
The cat ran off as I approached where it was hiding..
