Description Alright, time for another Mario Brothers bad guys post... this time there is a Boomerang Brother from SMB3, Fryguy from SMB2, a spear weilding tribal shyguy from SMBW2, a level 8-4 goomba from SMB1, and a Snifit also from SMB2...

The little flame thing coming off of Fryguy is not attached as it probably should be, but the clear beads that I would have had to use would have gotten in the way later on in mounting it... at least that's the plan...

Yeah, I'm not usually a gallery whore, but considering you found one of mine and liked it, you probably would like the others...

The goomba is way cute. ;D I like the simple black white and grey look of it.

They are called Perler beads and they are made by a company called Dimensions... I also use a bead called Hama beads and they are sold primarily in the United kingdom (Europe)

You may have to go onto ebay and order them if you don't have any craft stores that carry them in Argentina... Best of luck... ^^

Yes, Fryguy!! Great choice of villains all around, but Fryguy and Clawgrip have always been my two favorite SMB bosses.

I've actually been meaning to make Fryguy, Clawgrip, and Wart for ages now, but I kept putting off making the smaller sprites on the side, fearing they'll inevitably make me come up short on beads for those damn Punch-Out behemoths. I think I've reached the point to where Tyson & co. will just have to take the back seat for a week or two. The P.O. opponent legacy is in good hands with you, anyways.

Yeah, Fryguy is the best, Usually though most people skip his world (world 4) and therefore is missed some of the time... But Clawgrip being the boss of world 5 I would assume gets even less attention than Fryguy...

and thanks about the Punch Out legacy, although it'll probably be a few weeks before I post anything new too, so it's in both our hands... ^^

Definitely; both were seriously unheralded, especially Clawgrip. Maybe that's part of my being drawn to them the most, they still have their "indie street cred"

You'll probably still submit a new boxer before I do. I'm currently making smaller sprites, many of which are purposely in the same "unheralded, hidden gem" vein as Clawgrip. Some from games most consider utter flops, but games I grew up loving, nonetheless.

I'm thinking about posting a dozen or so in the same submission, and holding a contest.
Something like "Whoever's the first to name every game (and the character's name, where applicable) depicted in this deviation gets a month's subscription, on me".

Wow those must be pretty obscure game sprites... I'll have to see how many I can name...

and yeah, because you still haven't posted any new punch out fighters during my "march month of work related craziness" (coined that just now) I might post glass joe and mr dream before you... that is if my rust for mr dream gets in soon... ^^

Good luck on the obscure sprites, I'm pretty well versed in the obscure...
