Originaly Tsunami was build by Nexon coorporation. At the begining of second invasion in 2032 Tsunami was sold to Australia thus becoming its second mk V jeager, wich replaced destroyed Striker. It was one of most advanced Jeagers build. Main role was long range engagement. It was most armed Jeager ever build, with 2 Plasmacaster and cheast anti-kaiju missiles. It is capable to kill even type V kaiju with one full volley. However Tsunami was capable to enter close combat fights as well. It scored eight kills between 2032-2035, plus additional eleven kills during the next few years making him one of most effective kaiju killers ever.
