I actually always wanted Splatoon to have a more woodland themed place so I'm holding out hope!!

I feel like, because of the "cool kid big city" theme, it would have a forest-y and somewhat worn-down story mode, in contrast to the higher technology used in the story mode now. It would add to that creepy, exotic vibe the game seems to rock.
Not sure if they'll make Spatoon 3. This feels like their ending point.

Well, first of all, SMO's ending has peach regecting the two (Hmm... Maybe she had Daisy teach her "independent princess" lessons...) which might lead to... fewer kidnaps. And second, I can't wait 3 years for a sequal! There's also the matter they're adding octolings. Playable. Octolings. That, if I was Nintendo, would be my very last resort. They're listening to the fans. It just.... NNNAaAAaaaRRRGGGHhH.
It just seems everything is ENDING!
There's two shows I love reaching a seeming end as well.
