Goenji is the new generation of his Timeline, coming from the 2330 era in a generation in which Saiyan power was lost, and he is part of this future generation. Gero was seeing this Timeline and became interested in Goenji who had strong genetics that were capable of withstanding the Super Android experiment to use him for the purposes of destroying the Xenoverse and the Time Patrol once and for all. But after following Goenji and using him for his project he was strong enough to withstand all the mutations and when he was going to be mentally dominated by Gero, Goenji was filled with fury and freed himself by fighting against Gero and running away and being saved by those he loved. he had to kill the Time Patrol and team up with them to get his revenge
