When I look at this, I think of my favorite novel, about a Dutch, Jewish ballerina who gets sent to a concentration camp and catches the eye of a very sadistic SS officer. Her name was Ruby and she had blonde hair and blue eyes.
"The Red Roses Are Always From Me" was a mini theme of the book because of a song as she got roses with a secret admirer with that note. It's a good bool
