Personally I like "Universal Appeal" from the misfits, they had Pizzazz clone Sailor Moon's transformation animation either coincidence (doubtful) or literally.

As much as I'd love to say I liked the show I never really watched it (I'm a boy, and in the eighties, if you watched something like this you'd be crucified!) But still, I do like the character designs, and your take on them is really well done!

I'm a male too and in the 80's I watched it for the girls in miniskirt ^^. They used to think that a show with lots of girls as main characters is automatically targeted at female audiences. Silly wabbit, girls like yaoi crap. Jem screams shoujo ai as much as Sailor Moon and Maria sama ga miteru does. Then again some might not think the same way.

Actually I agree whole heartedly, which is why (when I've got money) I want to go back and rewatch some old series again! And truth betold, you look at some of the writing and wonder how some stuff ever got past censur boards (case in point, Thundercat's first episode had Cheetarah nude) Anyways, great point!

Right, in fact in the first two eps of Jem the girls are in "pajamas" (big shirts no pants) Not to mention that all 3 eps I've rwatched would've gotten the misfits in a lot of trouble. I mean attempted murder, dissorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, distruction of private property, inavsion of private property etc
