I can’t stop with the wholesome Wachowski family stuff! I am IN it right now. The idea is that since Sonic grew up alone, and had no one there to take care of him when he’s sick, he panics when Tails isn’t doing well. The fact that Tails got hurt in the second movie doesn’t help. Knuckles cares too of course, but he thinks that Tails is a mighty warrior and that he can get over it.
