CD cover for a school project me and ~bluestarwolf12 are working on.I love school projects that require illustration. xD So much funnnn~
....I think this may be the first time I've drawn an actual pig. fhfjgh,.

Bonjour, I'm going to try for a bitta critique.
Cons:
So the only major con I see here (and apparently felt it was big enough to do this entire critique thing over), is that the texture of the hair upon the child's head (it's Simon, right?), looks really really non-hair...ish. (Articulation! I has it,) what I mean is that when I first saw this picture I thought the head was another leaf. The lines aren't soft or fine enough to be hair, instead you get the impression that they are thick pieces of straw or something along those lines. Also, dodge tool use on the hair looks a little silly.
Anyway, the background is amazing, and so is the pig head e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

Yeah I completely flopped on Simon's hair. 8I;; I think my main issue is I've never drawn hair from the back before, so obviously I need practice.

That book...oh that book...it was one of those books that made me feel, like...empty...books like "Of Mice and Men" made me cry hard, made me really sad and upset, but LotF made me feel like I had a void inside, a void which obliterated all emotions for a while, except the want of a distraction. I still feel the same whe nI think about the book, and don't rightly know whether or not I liked it...
The picture is definately more gruesome now that I see it up close. O.O It's really the perfect image for the scene, I always had a hard time picturing that book in my mind, but this helps a lot. XD Makes one awesome cd cover.

IM not going to0 write a critique, cause i dont think i have enough to say, so ill just comment. Over all the picture is AMAZING although i have no clue what its from. The quality and blending of the colors is great, and i have about the same con as everyone else, which is the hair. matter of fact, i didnt know it was hair until someone said so..... so yep.... thats about it
