Hi!She's Yuka, one of my OC's. She can control water XD. I've used the color blue as the main one, I really like blue
.Sorry if the water isn't too good, but I made it with a mouse, so please be comprehensive
Done with SAI and edited with Photoshop CS2

I'm not quite sure where to start with this picture, there are so many things about it that really strike me. The character is really well designed, and is drawn with amazing form and style. The anatomy is great, and the lines are very polished and smooth. The color choices for the piece are overall very nice, and they really give a feeling of "blue", and calm. The shading is very well done, and it really gives life to the piece with a nice sparkling effect. The water effects are very nice, as well. The seamless, flowing color really makes the water look like a liquid next to the solid lines of the character, and the shading and highlights on it looks strikingly realistic. The bubbles around the picture look really good and bring a new level of depth to the picture. The final bottom layer may be simple, but it completes the color scheme perfectly, and the foreground has plenty in it to distract from its simplicity.
The character design itself is also very well done, and unique. The outfit is perhaps a bit simple, but it gets the effect across nonetheless.
Some suggestions for improvement would perhaps be that, while the water effects are very good as they are, the author is correct in that they could be elaborated on a bit more. The drawing could be a little more dynamic, but the current pose seems to suit the character. The background could also be expanded on a little bit, but other than that this is a really great picture, and I think the artist did a great job. ^_^

You're welcome! ^_^ Well I don't really expect to get critiques on my art either, but one of my friends gave a very good one for one of my animations and it really made my day. When I saw this picture on the top of a deviation stack, it really struck me, and when I saw you were asking for critique I thought I should take the time and give one. ^_^

Wow your chacter is reeally cool. She reminds me of one of my characters who also has blue hair. I relly like how you drew her surrounded by water.

Beautiful! I think the water looks great. The only thing I'd say is distractingly off is the pattern on the shirt. The lines should be changing with the curves of her body. [link]

Oh Josema, that is just enchanting this picture is relaxing (it's the blue, lol) yet stirring and powerful! All the different shade belnd together seamlessly, to create such a wonderful, and beautiful effect
but I have to say...a MOUSE!?!?! that is incredible! I used to do all my work with a mouse, and now the thought of it makes me want to cry on your shoulder! Oh we have to get you a tablet! This in incredible that you could do that with a mouse, just think how much better it will be with a tablet!
