Thanks I LOVE the Sega Hard Girls far before the crossover I'm a giant Sonic fan so hearing SEGA made anthropomorphic console girls was SURE SOMETHING. I fell in love. I've seen recently that Neptunia is less then stellar to say the least...... but I figured my final Neptunia game should be Superdimesion. This was also the first time the Sega Hard Girls got English voices so I was excited about that as well. I can't remember a time I've followed a game so closely up until release. What disappoints me is that mk2 was good (decent but I didn't realize this) and Victory was even better but in almost 10 years Neptunia doesn't have a lot of the things that make games good well out together or just simple gameplay elements are mechanics that make a game fun or enjoyable let alone playable. Basically Neptunia is trash and the fact that Idea Factory/Compile Heart doesn't care about making good games makes it worse. There is potential there (Noire is my 2nd waifu) it's just they don't do anything with it. What series can you think of that's been around 10 years and only has 3 main series games? What upsets me most is that Superdimesion comes so close to being and feeling like an actual video game it's upsetting. It has all these mechanics and elements that should've been there in the first place and some of them come close to being “right” but don't quite get there. I feel much better trusting someone with my money I know can make good products like SEGA and Marvelous. Honestly Neptunia becomes very boring and monotonous especially since it's too easy, jumps in difficulty forcing you to grind, bad character models (if you don't believe me check out the Neptunia models from different games without shading), story is there they just never do anything with it (outside of spin offs) to evolve it or make it amazing. Gameplay has barely changed over 10 years sure they add a few things but every other game I've played handles this better. There's lots of reasons why Neptunia is bad and plenty to work with. Another example is Nep Nep's Summer Vacation the Hyperdimension Neptunia anime (and OVA) came out in 2013 Nep Nep's Summer Vacation came out in the middle of 2019 yet the animation looks the same and the thing is anime's animation and quality usually changes and evolves every 5-10 years so it's insane to think anyone wouldn't bother updating their show when they have millions of dollars to work with. Don't get me wrong Neptunia isn't the worst thing in the world I just look at it with more of an indifference now after realizing the truth.

Yeah, I've enjoyed some of the music but it can be repetitive and a bit annoying, just because it makes fun of or references other RPGs doesn't give an excuse for their games to be subpar, no I don't hate them I hate how poorly they're handled. Nepgear, Noire, IF (outside of Superdimesion), and especially Linda who went out with a small reference in a terrible game.
I've also had lag in every Neptunia game when everything's operating like it's supposed to or in mk2's case if I “play it for too long”. Apparently a full team on screen slows down Victory which is very bizarre. I also had crashes well entering certain dungeons and once in battle the first time I installed the game and the second which almost never happens to me with PS3 games. I've found 2 bugs in Superdimesion any playtester should've found this bug with the charge youtu.be/H6JjrOS4wUs and this extremely easy out of bounds with the collision or invisible walls messing up and sending me into the background youtu.be/asAhMI7TOME and the game apparently uses up so many resources the Vita can't open other apps while it's running or they were too lazy to program it to it won't even let me open photos to view screenshots I take. Also one other bug I experienced was when fighting Time Eater on the Bad Ending route when I was underleveled after me surviving about 30 turns on Time Eater's turn the game soft locks and he wouldn't do anything and since I was in a battle I couldn't pause or exit the only recourse I had was to close and restart the game that was bad and had absolutely no reason to occur the A.I. just stopped working that day.

I got a new PS3 it wasn't the system I would know if it was. It's how the games runs. So you don't have any defense then? No story? Your defense is just “Neptunia isn't bad”? No offense but that's not a very solid argument against the evidence presented you. If you still no believe me compare Neptunia to other games they don't have these problems unless the game was poorly put together, rushed, or the problem is the game engine itself like with Sonic Unleashed the HD versions will chug on some sections no matter what.

Yeah. Is that the only thing though? An example is I enjoyed IF but wish she'd speak her mind more to be honest I thought she could've ended some situations herself if she didn't hesitate Superdimension finally gave her her just dues and then some that's why I say “Superdimension IF is the true IF” and Superdimesion Iffy is best Iffy”. Also it helps that IF was pretty stagnant (outside of Victory and the anime giving her a gun) her costume was also the same since 2010 her Superdimension outfit however is awesome and she's very serious and sassy I think she acts how she feels on the inside and says what comes to mind. What about Noire? I think (at least her Hyperdimension original) can be stubborn but very serious and caring despite being a tsundere. I like Noire a lot I wish they didn't start focusing on Ultradimension Noire a lot for seemingly no reason while pushing the one with the better personality to the side.

Can you tell me some? My friend plays every game in the series (he feels he has an obligation to after platinuming in the first few games) and has a real distaste for it I doubt he would say any of the sad moments work or are well thought out. Though I think they're fine. Cute may be subjective but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Meh it was quite the ride. the first death may me almost cry though didn't help I had headphones and was super close to the TV at 3 or 4 AM. At least all the villains are dead? I didn't doubt that Linda would kill you know who but it was still kinda messed up and I hated fighting Linda I like her quite a lot as a villain actually. Didn't help that the Conquest Ending was the last ending I got.
Even my friend that despises Neptunia has a soft spot for Linda. We hate how underutilized she was. Linda is a great villain with believable motives and morals.

Yeah it's not fair. Linda's awesome so underappreciated. The majority of people don't even call her by her name even the game calls her “Underling” when her name is even in the intro is Linda.

Mmm probably didn't bother modeling it on her or it floats like the wings of Processors. Hey speaking of the CPU Processors; which are some of your favorite? I quite enjoy Nepgear and Uni's Mk. II.
Getting the original CPU's Processors in Victory was really stupid though it was way too difficult and grindy sure they're the strongest in the game but still. Yellow Heart and Iris Heart get higher stats with some mixing of Processors though.
