Well its a interesting style that you should continue to work on and also don't be so hard on your art etc either, I think being more positive about it and being aware of how you can make slight changes for the next picture etc is more helpful and will keep you in a better frame of mind rather than feeling fed up sometimes! Take this advice from someone who is extremely negative haha .

That's precisely what I'm doing by being negative, I point the flaws in my work in order to learn from it and try not to redo the same mistakes.
Don't worry I'm not in a self flagellation state of mind neither, I just try to be as objective as possible.
Hehe that's often the most concerned who give the best advices.

I guess in the end the same as you really haha, usually in the middle of a painting or when I finish one I feel very down and negative about it but I keep things in mind and keep trying to improve with future art. Its the best you can do really .

Ahah oui ce serait dommage de casser l'ambiance au repas de Noël à cause d'un malheureux dessin. D'un autre côté c'est aussi certainement ces visages qui sont les plus faciles à reproduire car ils sont bien souvent profondément encrés dans la mémoire et le sentiment. (Non ce n'est pas la suite de "Raison et sentiment") 
En même temps je trouverais dommage que vous vous orientiez vers le réalisme alors que vous avez un style très unique et personnel.

Ahahah mince déformation professionnelle j'imagine, je ne m'étais jamais posé la question, mais c'est vrai que ça fait sens maintenant que vous le dites (ou "disez" au point où j'en suis ) !
Je ne pense pas que les dessinateurs hyperréalistes soient plus doués que les autres, mais comme je me réjouis de ne pas vous voir virer de cap je m'abstiendrai de vous contredire, héhé.
Oui je crois que je comprends, j'ai la même impression, et pour être franc je crois que c'est également le cas pour de nombreux artistes. Quant au sentiment d'accomplissement, je pense qu'on ne l'atteint jamais vraiment. L'art n'est jamais parfait et reste en constante évolution, et ce, malgré la satisfaction éphémère que peuvent procurer certains travaux.
Ce n'est évidemment que mon opinion de novice.
