Lately I have been changing and redisigning the setting and characters of an old story concept I had. I moved the story setting to Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia and redisigned the rest of the protagonists. I'm also reconsidering it's title, which I will change at a later date.
Anyway, here are our protagonists:

Sharon Young-Lejeune is a sixteen-year-old who lives in Shag Harbour. Beneath her rather jaded attitude lies a bright, warm-hearted and spiritual intellect. She is an open-minded young lady with strong moral and political views. Sharon is very much in touch with her Mi'kmaq heritage and a very talented painter. She is good friends with John, who despite his occasional foolishness she is fond of for his humour, cheerful attitude and taste in the Beatles. She is also good friends with Laurie.
When they first come across Sarah, they were scared. However, seeing that she was wounded, Sharon suggested that they bring her into Laurie's house so that she could tend to her wounds.
John MacNeal is a sixteen-year-old with a cheerful and humorous personality. He is good friends with his neighbour Laurie and has somewhat of a crush on his friend Sharon. At times he isn't sharpest tool in the shed, or the bravest, but in heart he is a kind and considerate young man who always sticks up and looks out for his friends. He is a big fan of the Beatles and is abit of a geek when it comes to science fiction.
When they first come across Sarah, John was probably the most fearful of her, but he quickly grew to befriend her.
Sarah is a fifteen-year-old Grey-Human hybrid who was genetically engineered by a race of extraterrestrials known as the Greys. Unlike the Greys, Sarah shows a wide range of Human emotions, but she can be apathetic at times. After the vessel she was on was shot down and crashed off the coast of Shag Harbour, she awoke a couple of hours later seriously wounded and washed up on the shores of Shag Harbour. She then disguised herself and went in search of somewhere to hide, when she was discovered by John, Sharon and Laurie, they took her in and saved her. Her personality reflects how she feels lost, not just on Earth, but in life. She longs for a place where she feels belonged and isn't treated like an experiment. Sarah has minor telepathic abilities and has a fondness for Human food.
Laurie Marcel is a sixteen-year-old with a positive attitude and has a strong sense of right and wrong. He is a caring and compassionate young man who at times enjoys fooling around. He is good friends with John and Sharon and works at a convienience store with his uncle. Laurie is very much in touch with his Acadian heritage and is fluent in French. He is a bright, open-minded person who is loyal to his word and is always driven to follow his morals. When they first come across Sarah, Laurie vows to look after and keep her safe no matter what.
