I think that deep down Peridot really isnβt all that bad. I think that she just simply doesnβt understand things like βempathyβ, βsympathyβ, or βcompassionβ. And Steven, being the most loving, considerate and sensitive guy around, would be the perfect one to teach her. Which would result in a lot of funny and adorable hijinks.

I do hope this happens. It makes sense, because, as seen in "Keeping it Together", Peridot isn't directly hostile towards Steven, so she is more likely to listen to him then the other gems, and therefore, more likely to befriend him
