Raichu points excitedly as the clouds move out of the way for the sun to finish rising over the distant hills.
Lapras turns their head away from their destination and follows the little mouse's pointer to observe the spectacle.
Although they had seen hundreds of sunrises and sunsets... there was something about sharing it with a friend that made this one feel a little more special.

This work was inspired by jedininja97
The sunrise is referenced from a photograph I took with a friend about a year ago. Although not the world's most stunning sunrise, the story behind taking the photo was memorable, and the composition of the image felt right to try drawing (minus the boats and buildings).
While working on this, I decided to give "line-less" art a go... and oh boy was that a steep learning curve x_x I'm still very much a beginner, but I learned so much from working on this one, even if it took me a week to do!
