Yes they would. Evil is never just black and white in reality. Sociopaths can act like the kindest people ever, but it's just an act to get what they want, and not be hated by everyone.
NOT all sociopaths are evil, but all psychopaths, which are different, are evil, and can also do good things.
ANY inteligent bad guy would gain the trust of others through kindness, so they can lead an army, or gain access to important information.

I'm guessing that Zander is going to have to snipe Ben with an aura sphere (as it is a ranged attack) and then once he is hit off balance, Neon will be in position to hold him down until the others can get there.

I'm confused on the artitexture of this guildhall. Wasn't he running up a staircase in the last page (thus going deeper into the guildhall)? Running away from the area that the HiF team originally entered from?
