I love the contrast, and the water dripping off the hand just seems to fit.

Nice, I like the contrast between the blue flame and dull monotone hand. Did you use a particle based program to create this (i.e adobe after effects, particle illusion), or did you do this from scratch?

I used Macromedia Fireworks. I simply got the picture of the hands cupped together, inserted a picture of fire and got rid of the dark background, changed the colour, drew a circle and gave a gaussian blur, and hey presto! It was that easy! Thnx 4 ur comment btw!
