Proct-R turned around frowning. “My JOB...my DIRECTIVE is Quality Control CAPTAIN! My directive its make that CLOCK fail as little as possible! If you think that these SHIPS run on their own without anyone to watch over them with a skilled out, then you really aren’t ready to be captain!”

Zani slapped him, angry tears coming to her eyes, everyone, almost everyone she knew told her she wasn't a good Captain, they wanted her to quit, but it was too much to hear it from the robot that helped her so much to reach that level.

“Get out of my ship…”

He was stunned and touched his face for a moment...his face still stone, but inside it felt as if he were falling, he knew when he said what he did he would regret it but was too angry to care....he looked at Zani and then saluted her with great deliberation

“Aye Captain” Then turned around and exited the alcove.

Zani sat in bed with a hand over her eyes... and let out a sob... just one. “...let’s see if you ever find a better Captain than me.” She composed herself, angrier than hurt. Knowing it will be just for a while before her stupid woman feelings kick in, walks out and almost shouts commands to replace Proct-R as AutoPilot and get Pr-P on his place once more. Even if he wasn't ready, she could do his job until he was. "I don't need Proct-R, I don't need anyone." repeated herself in her mind. Always looking for approval just to get spat in the face, well screw it!
