*laughs* You know that nose would go straight for her hair. Her fault for using those fruity-scented shampoos. Poor thing isn't quite sure what to do, is she? ^^This pic was actually done several years back, and I just remembered it. Done for a friend, and it was put up as the header pic for a Sess/Kag mailing list. This pic is dedicated to the wonderful authors and artists out there who make me think that perhaps it could be possible to get these two together.
I know this is not a canon pairing, so please be open-minded. ^^ I like Kagome and Inuyasha together as well, I'm just intrigued by the Sess/Kag idea.

The shading is awesome.....and I'm a complete Sess/Kag fangirl so this just puts me in a happy mood^_^.

Why thank you, I'm glad you like! ^_^ There are things on it that I would do differently now, but on the overall, I like how it came out. I find this couple intriguing as a pair, and love well-written fics on the subject.
Colored pencils were some of the first tools I ever used to color things traditionally...well, aside from crayons, anyway. ^^ I love them so much...so versatile.

*laughs* That's a common sentiment, and certainly how Takahashi has ended up playing Sess' character out, it wouldn't happen. ^^ I'm actually kind of disappointed that she didn't do more with him...a little more growth would have been good. Ah well. *shrugs*
Anyway, I'm really flattered that even though you don't care for the pairing, you still liked it enough to comment AND add it to your faves. *bows* I'm always impressed and grateful that people can like something for itself, and not let biases get in the way. Thank you very much!

*laughs* I actually see him as ending up with Rin-chan one of these when she goes up a bit & he's like totally unprepared for it. Like it's almost a pleasnt surprise & one he's going to have to do a lot of explaining about...*laughs* I know what you mean, Sesshomaru is a pretty cool character & one that it would ahve been nice if she had done more with him. Still he's been showing up lately in the later chapters & it's fun to watch him work with Inuyasha while both sit there & deny the fact that actually ahve a common goal...(Just think of the third movie^^)

Inuyasha: *pauses in the act of whipping out the Tetsusaiga* I don't know... *thinks* & I don't want to know, although I wish he'd stop mauling Kagome...
Sesshomaru: *thinks* What is this smell? & Why is it, that no one other than this strangely dresses miko ever smells this good? More importantly, where can I get some as no one but this Sesshoamru should smell as sweet!

But seriously, I find myself thoroughly intrigued by the possibilites for these two and have scoured fansites and fanfic archives for good fics. And MAN are there a few good ones!

Ooooh yes, big fan. I think it was based on two major factors:
1) Kat is absolutely and completely beshmuddled over Sesshoumaru in every way. Yes. >_>
2) Inuyasha can be such an indecisive, grouchy, frustrating little git that I can't help the slight element of "Just wait till Kagome realizes just how much more mature and intriguing (not to mention downright HAWT) his brother is and THEN he'll be sorry for being so retarded over already-dead Kikyo!" in my thinking.
3).....I have a tendency to be drawn in by pairings that require a bit of imagination and development for them to work. Call it artistic curiosity.
eh, by "remix" I mostly meant drawing them again, period. ^_^
Sometimes I try to re-draw an old pic or really old character of mine, just to see how much better I've gotten and to add details and fix-its that have occured to me over time.
But mostly I'm an art-whore and would love to see more Sess/Kagome out there.

Long time since prismacolors eh? Actually I find it's like biking, you don't ever really forget, though you ight get rusty. I've resntly been using my prismacolors too again, and it's not been bad, been coming out really good, I think I have a better grasp of color now than I use to.

*laughs* I shudder to think how I would work in colored pencils now. Sad thing is...when I work in traditional mediums, my brain tries to figure out a way to push the "undo" button when I screw up. *cackle* How pathetic is that? ^^ I think that's my cue to get back into practice.

Heehee...Kagome is caught in a "deer in headlights" moment, and Sessh is only innocent in that he's trying to figure out what she smells like. What's really going through that mind of his is anyone's guess.
