Description Done as a gift for , I thought I'd try my hand at everyone's fave pervy monk, Miroku. ^_^ Aww...doesn't he look at peace with himself right now? Twenty bucks says he's mentally undressing Sango.

Given how fundamentally simple he is in appearance, he was surprisingly tricky; I thought the staff was going to kill me. *laughs* But I do find him such a cute and sexy little thing, I don't mind. ^_______^

It actually didn't occur to me you'd used a picture till I read it in the pic info, I thought you'd done some clever things with the photoshop leaf brushes. ; ) Looks very nice--- as for what he's looking at/thinking...I'd take that bet. ; ) Yay for chicken-scratchy linework!

Thank you very much! ^^ I'm always leery of using stock images within a picture, but I think I managed to get away with it, at least partially. I think the shadows and dappled lighting helped a lot.

Oh yeah, you know he's staring at some choice Sango parts. XD Heeee, I am the chicken-scratch queen!

Thank you! ^______^ I rather like this version of Miroku...he looks best when viewed at full-size...for some reason the thumbnail screws with his facial features.

I so rarely draw pics of him, that it's fun to do, once in a while. I thought the staff was going to kill me; it was a LOT harder to do than I had realized.

Thanks! ^_^ This was the first Miroku pic I ever drew, and I was stunned at how difficult it was for me to accurately portray him...silly little git that he is. ^^

That staff alone took me about an hour to do...I'd forgotten how freaking intricate it was...thank goodness for artbooks; they make great references!

Ahh...none of the effects you see would have been possible for me without Photoshop...layering makes it so much easier to put things in like backgrounds and dappled light effects...I probably would have gone insane if I had tried to do it all one one canvas. *laughs*

Hee, thank you! I'm normally VERY skittish when it comes to using photos in my backgrounds....huh, I think this is the only one I have, actually. *laughs* Anyway, I tried to alter it enough so it would flow a bit better with Miro-sama; only providing a background texture and overall feeling, instead of an actual dependent structure. ^_^ Thank you for your comment!
