Description I stumbled across this beautiful picture of my favorite Slayers couple; Zelgadis and Amelia, wonderfully-drawn by the very talented , and she graciously let me take her original sketch for my screensaver files. ^__^ The original linework can be found here. ----> [link] I just ADORE how she drew Zel and Amelia...she's so adorable, and Zel looks so gentle. The linework is INCREDIBLE...right down to the last hair on Amelia's head. O_O

However, the picture kept taunting me...tempting me...I just HAD to try and accentuate this lady's gorgeous lineart with a little color. Please forgive me, Vaneral...I couldn't resist! *bows low*

A gift of color for a very talented lady...I hope you like it!

0-0 .......................................... *not the biggest Amelia fan but hey.... it's a good picture** I draw Zelgadis myself! ^^ Thou should check out meh gallery! I don't have more than four pics of him (mostly Chichiri.... -^^-) but I have this EXTREAMLY kawaii one of him and Chichiri in modern day clothes with Pocky and suckers! ^^ Then the other three involve Zel in a hotspring, him in my own style, and the first pic I ever did of him which was a cute chibi! ^^ I really like how YOU draw him though

Hey!! I was a little busy trying to make sure my ass didn't aquire several new holes, thank you very much! I didn't know they were there until the urchin on the street demanded them in exchange for the next powerup eraser! Argh...I should have known that it...YES I got the pickle! I was stupid and forgot to wear my "Anti-Brine-Stink Gauntlet," when I fished it out of the Divine Barrel, and my hand reeled for an entire week! I smelled like I goosed a skunk! *grumblegrumble*

That is so incredibly sweet! The coloring is...awesome. The highlights and shadows, especially with the hair, just makes me stare. O.O Wow, so pretty There's so many textures...your technique has a very lovely result!

Thank you so much! I really enjoy using some of the more scratchy tools available on Painter. I used a combination watercolor and salt background, with alternating drybrush and loaded acrylic brush tools, creating a wonderfully layered texture. ^_^

My goodness, thanks sooooo much! This is unbelievably beautifully colored! It's so amazing knowing one of the Artists I practically worshipped (yes, I know I live an unhealthy life) think my art is nice enough to color! I think I may have a heart attack.
