Shinrei hates it when his dragons give him sass. Especially the ones that manifest themselves in his tea. Pisses him off royally. XDFrom the series "Samurai Deeper Kyo," this is a companion piece to "Poke," which can be found here --->[link] ). This one features Shinrei, half-brother to Hotaru, and, like the previous drawing, this one pretty much sums up the character of the individual. XD He's so straight-laced that I'm always afraid he'll start choking on the stick that's firmly wedged up you-know-where. ^^ He's such an adorable guy though, I just want to squeeze him. XD
Done as a present for for when she was visiting back in November...sorry it took so long for me to get the darn thing scanned, lady! XD

Nothing can be better that when Shinrei and Hotaru are both together; Shinrei turns the most straight-laced, and Hotaru turns the most empty-head that world has ever seen!! XD

Eeeeeeee!!!!! You finished it! Aww, he's such an adorable, pissy little thing, isn't he? I always get the sense that no one gives Shinrei the proper respect he derseves....His half brother's always pissing him off and baiting him (whether its intentional or not is up for debate ^_^ ), Kyo's always sending snarky comments his way...and now even his (tea) dragons are mouthing off!
No wonder the guys so uptight.

Heee...Shinrei is just one of those character types that just BEGS to be chibified. It's like a dare I can't resist. XD As for the baiting, I think that most of the time Hotaru just says what he thinks; the fact that it drives his brother up the wall is an added bonus.
Now as for Kyo, we all KNOW that's intentional. Cuz he's just as big a bastard as Shinrei. *laughs*

That's because I was an idiot and didn't explain in my description where Shinrei came from. XD I are smart!
Shinrei and his half-brother, Hotaru, are from the anime/manga series "Samurai Deeper Kyo." EXCELLENT manga series, the anime is NOT worth it.
Shinrei has the ability to manipulate water and any liquid that's water-based. Makes for some pretty darn cool maneuvers, I'll say. ^^ One of his trademark techniques is to summon water dragons, and he uses them to execute some of his more powerful attacks.
Unsurprisingly, Hotaru is Shinrei's opposite; he is a fire master, and HATES water. ^^ He completely laid-back, and loves to piss Shinrei off. At least we, the audience, figure he does, though we're not exactly sure whether or not it's really intentional.
