Legends speak of the greater demon lords that weave the fated threads of our world. The existence of these creature is shrouded in myths and fables passed down through generations. Whether or not they serve a benevolent or malevolent purpose is unknown to the mortal souls of our realm. Still, their ethereal presence creeps into our world and may steer our fates to some unseen destination. They are the council that spins the threads of destiny. They are the Araknyos Weavers.

It's said that the intricate jeweled Weaver called Oridrae is the embodiment of greed. Those that find themselves slaves to their material desires are often lured to their doom by this shadowy creature. Some theorize that Oridrae is sustained by the selfish emotions of those blinded by their obsessions. To that end, many instances of division and corruption have been attributed to the demon. Oridrae is also known to construct ornate nests from the looted riches of those it devours. Finding one of its many lairs could be a double edged sword as those tempted by said riches are doomed to become its prey.

Like the other Araknyos Weaver designs, Oridrae here started with its central body shape. Using the idea of a jeweled spider creature, I drew its body to resemble a crown with the rest an off-gold color. Its legs are a bit more stocky than some of the other entries in the series as well. I get the feeling this one would be a bit larger and encumbered by much of its jeweled riches. The rest of the details were added in to add to the bulk of its original body and limbs.
