This month features the wacky yet lovable Pukei-Pukei! From the first time it was revealed in the MHW trailers, the unique design of this monster was interesting to me. Even though it's one of the lower-difficulty targets, I do like fighting Pukei-Pukei. Its gear is also decent when it comes to the poison ailment.

Pukei-Pukei's body and long tail were easy to translate into the circular format here. It was a little challenging getting the right positioning and texture on its wings. From there it was just a matter of dividing up the sections and adding things like its spikes and feathers. The long tongue also helps complete the overall circular shape.
