Description
Just a quick drawing of everyone favorite extinct marsupial power couple, Jake the thylacine and Waratah the thylacosmilus.It has been a while since I could draw and post regularly do I'll kick it off with the pair most of my watchers really seem to enjoy.
As the title suggested the are a married pair, though I will continue with my habit of randomly featuring different points up and down all my character's timeliness. As their creator I will interact fluidly with their lives and fates.
I've got some plans for future drawings and comics about them but if there is anything in particular you want to see them doing. I'm open to prompts and request.

That's just muscle and fat. In keeping with marsupial anatomy the nips are in the pouch, but apparently no one who ever drew a anthro female kangaroo on DA knows that.

They are probably my most frequently drawn characters and it is likely to continue that way.

I plan to do more comics with them too. It's odd how well I know there life stories and can picture all of them and their world in my head. I just need to get it all down on paper.

i find characters i make up seem to tell me stupid and insignificant details, even when I'm in a phase of ignoring their story. The most recent thing is that Violet the armadillo is very into musicals and theatre. Im not the best at writing structured stories but i tend to make up random things about characters and have a lot of trouble actually writing them. So instead of actually writing I've been trying to indicate details about story just through outfit, expression, accessory and scenario in visual art because it's easier for me and doesn't include actually writing anything

Yeah, I love drawing odd species.
Wharatah is pretty great, she may be a battle hardened soldier but she has a shy little cartoon geek side to her that's as soft and sweet as a marshmallow. She's equally comfortable taking out a tank or snuggling on a couch watching "Azumanga Daioh"
