You guys have NO IDEA how hard it's been to keep myself from drawing ponies. I took a quick break from modelling a kitchen in Maya to doodle my pony OC's final design. I decided to go off of her name and make her special talent storm chasing! She's a meteorolopony. An EXTREME meteorolopony. Personality-wise, she takes after my persona- she can be quite brash and rough, she's kind of self-centered, she's sadistic. She loves a challenge- the 'storm chaser' thing is literal as well as metaphorical- and hates to be coddled. She's a 'do things on her own terms' kind of pony, which can be a bad thing sometimes.

She hates how hot it gets in the summer time. Her favorite season is winter and she loves it when it precipitates. Cloudy days are her favorite, and she has very low heat tolerance.

If you draw her show style, her head shape is closest to Zecora's and her build would be typical pony build, not manpony build (though her hooves are still feathered, like Big Mac's!).

I had a tough time deciding whether or not to keep her muzzle dark colored- none of the show ponies have that marking and I didn't want to go too Mary Sue-ish, especially since I already have that nod to Nightmare Moon in her eye design... but heck, I'm designing a fan character, not a complete OC. I decided to indulge myself.

The only thing that's still up in the air about her design is the name Rain Chaser. It's just my name run through the pony name generator, and well, I've got a pretty common name. We'll see.
