Description
My first completed artwork for the year!Man, I suck at watercolours. I made so many mistakes.
Like the flowers should have been closer together. Or there should have just been more.
And I'm still no good at backgrounds >,<
But hey, I'm just happy it's finished ^_^
This is one of my original characters. She doesn't have a name yet and probably won't have for a long time ...

its beautiful, love the colours, and god i've always loved ur watercolour drawings, adores, i'm planning to do some myself, now tht i've gotten some proper paper, but scared tht i will mess it up lol.
anyway her pose is pretty and u've got a good knowledge of the body structure, also i loved the shading, and the pink colour u've added on her fingers *love*

I liked the hair too. It doesn't look as good on the computer though. Actually it's meant to be black but purple got in there by 'accident' ...

Not bad! I like it. Usually after I do something watercolored, I brighten up the colors in photoshop. lol The light colors look pretty though. I like how the flowers aren't complete and the background isn't there. It makes it more abstract. ^_^ What did you use to make the background speckles? I usually use salt, but your spots look bigger than salt spots.

Using photoshop would be a good idea if I actually had it >,< But it's fine I guess
For the spots in the background, I just sprayed some white acrylic paint. I tried using salt once but it was a disaster. Actually i'm not so sure what the effect of salt does ... does it look any good? If so, i'll try properly using it next time I paint something ^_^

Salt make speckles. I usually use regular table salt and it makes little spots. I'll upload something with those speckles so you can see what it looks like. It's neat. Some use rock salt, but I think they're too big sometimes.
