"Piel de foca" o "la doncella foca", creo que es un cuento esquimal. Se trata de un tema que me gusta mucho; una mujer espíritu pierde el atavío o piel que le permite volver a su mundo, y debe quedarse en este. En el dibujo ella está triste porque debe abandonar a su familia humana para volver al mar. El pelícano es otro espíritu, que va a buscarla al mundo humano.English:
"Sealskin" is a beautiful tale, about a female spirit who takes the shape of a seal. In the drawing she is sad because she has to leave her human family and return to the sea. The pelican is the sea god who came looking for her.

Lovely drawing! The selkie myth can also be found in my native Irish mythology, where there are some lovely stories. You remind me of home.

Oh!!!! ya quisiera yo dibujar figuras humanas así! te quedo muy pero muy bien, correctas proporciones, especialmente entre el pelicano y ella, la ambientación también. Y concuerdo, la expresión nostalgica de ella de verdad que llega. Me encanta cuando se logra expresar a travez del dibujo, creo que eso es lo más importante de todo.
Una pregunta tecnica, ¿qué papel usas para la acuarela? (yo estaba pensando en comprarme esos block de doble faz, sirve? jejeje)

El papel que uso es ese mismo, el doble faz. Creo que es el mejor, me gusta incluso más que el papel especial para acuarela (porque es más grueso). En casos de desesperación también sirve el papel de block común y corriente. Nunca uses ese papel para impresoras, porque se arruga.
