Straight out of a story-book, this. The desaturation adds to the time-worn mystique of the image. Very, very lovely.

subject-wise, i definitely find these street/alley-way views to be much more interesting than just a single building. they sort of 'invite' you into the scene i suppose you could say, rather than just seeing a dramatic looking building with dramatic lighting and a dramatic angle. it's nice to rather just see a simple picture with all it's little details brought out with the HDR. You should do more of these, maybe focus on little areas within the scene as well

I know some people don't like to share techniques, but how do you get the sky to look like that? That slate color? a lot of your work has that and I LOVE it!!!

Wow !!

Take care

zardo In reply to VaL-Anne [2009-02-20 13:26:03 +0000 UTC]

what do you propose ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

LikaLaruku In reply to zardo [2008-12-19 02:12:06 +0000 UTC]

A large signature of your name placed in a large area of empty or flat space on a corner that's color co-ordinated to both blend in & stand out at the same time. If it's in a small space, it should be bold or bright to stand out but small enough no to covor the whole image. (I just hide my signature in the hair).
