Description
This is the largest neopet, and one of the largest plush, I've ever made! It stands a little over two feel tall, and is just so darling to hold (I will be very sad to see this one go, it is so fluffy). This bori is made from shag, smooth minky, and over 5 lbs of stuffing. I love how face fame out, it has that classic neopet look to it. It can stand with some support and it looks very sweet while sitting. I tend to make more humanoids than quadrupeds, but I am very pleased with how the pattern turned out for this cutie, especially at such a large scale. Cherry red seems to be a tough color to photograph, and the size of this plush didn't seem to help. I still like the shots I took, but it is something to consider in the future. Making neopets is always a pleasure, I hope I'll get more neopet commissions in the future.Related content

Adorable! Ah... I remember when Bori's first were put into the Neopets scene, I believe with the creation of the "Hannah and the Ice Caves" game and webcomic, it happened. Good times, good times.

he is super cute! sewing that minky must have been a pain! i've only made a little beard accessory with that stuff before, and it was not fun. can't imagine sewing a whole plush!

Thanks! Yes, it is really hard to clean up. It is not as bad as some others, but it is on my notorious list, it just works so well with large fluffy characters. I've done a thorough vacuuming twice and I still find bits of red fluff around my apartment.

Oh my goodness it's so fluffy and adorable! I love that face!! The shag minky is so super duper soft... but how do you deal with the shedding!? I had a great idea to use it once on a small fox plush I made for a friend last year for her birthday, and I was finding white minky sheddings everywhere for WEEKS. It's worse than normal minky. lol.

Thanks! I had the same problem. It wasn't as bad as what I used for the soot sprites because it wasn't as dense, but this was a huge plush that involved a lot of cutting. I'm in a small 1 bedroom so it quickly diffused. We found it in our shower, in our fridge, and my roommate found some in her bra. It's just the price of using shag. I cleaned it very thoroughly but still find it in certain places.

Oh my god it got in the fridge. That is hilarious and amazing all at the same time. I feel like this is going to eventually happen to me. I used some moderately fluffy minky to make a small size doll and we kept finding bits of him everywhere too (me and my buddy are in a studio apartment atm, so same deal pretty much lol) the result is a very cute doll...
Oh gosh, I don't know if you use a laptop or a tower desktop but we opened my computer recently to change a loud fan and found a LOT of minky shed inside of it also.... I think a laptop would be better protected against that but it was kind of funny finding it inside my computer too.

Wow in the computer! My laptop is pretty far from me sewing area, and I have a rug that seems to prevent it from spreading to this area of my 1- bedroom that I share, but it was still pretty intense for awhile.
It does look super cute though, so it is probably worth it. Probably.

As I said when I took your order, you are going to have to be patient. I have gotten all his supplies and prepped his art for embroidery, but I won't start physically working on him until his slotted time.
